Nancy Anteby is a New York City based visual artist, with a focus on oil painting and fine art analog photography. Nancy graduated from Brooklyn College with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2018, where she received the Charles G Shaw award for art. Her artwork has been displayed at shows in Brooklyn College and various cultural centers around New York City. Nancy's work often includes patterns, specifically spirals because she is concerned with viewers reaction to repetitive motions and ability to focus on small details. Nancy describes her work as often spiraling into control.
In 2017 and 2018, she traveled across the globe, photographing street style at 6 music festivals. She created mixed media artwork with these images and heavy layers of oil paint. The resulting artworks were displayed in Criminals: The 2018 BFA Thesis Art Show.
